Veronika"I have been working for High Sierra Pools since 2004. First summer I worked as lifeguard in pool located in Arlington, VA. I really enjoyed my time here, improved my English and met a lot of friends. I decided to come back again in 2005 but this time I applied for 18 months internship program. During my stay as an intern I worked in different departments, starting at the sales department, than followed by accounting and finally finishing in human resources.

Jarek

Jarek"I started as Lifeguard in season 2005. I lived with my friends at Tyson’s Corner area and I was working under Mr. Gincho Haritev’s supervision. I was working mostly at Sheraton Premiere T.C. hotel, Embassy Suites T.C. hotel, Fountains at McLean condominium. I had great summer and I decided to come back next year.

I came to USA again in 2006 and I worked couple of week as Lifeguard at same area as previous year and also at Fairview Park Marriott hotel.

Boryana"The first time I heard something about High Sierra Pools was winter 2004 – my boyfriend at that time had just finished his work and travel program. He described me the job position “lifeguard” – not hard, but responsible, that he had great time being over there so I decided I got to try it too. So that’s how things started – as me and my friend arrived to the USA, we had accommodation, job, it was summer, it was nice, it was completely different from my country, it was just like in the movies… Most of the members at one of the pools were of Spanish heritage, so I learned a couple of Spanish phrases. At the other they were mostly Americans – really nice people, where I improved a lot of my English. That pool was really busy and crowded with kids, but was my favorite.
